Update

Hello everyone, just a quick update.

I went to the Unit last Friday for the last time, it looks really different all the upstairs has gone, completely gone, the place looks a lot smaller, I would have thought it would have looked bigger, I haven't seen it that empty for years.  All that's left in there at this time is some of the machinery.  Roy has lifting gear and transport sorted so they won't be in there for much longer, end of an era but the start of another one.  While all this moving is going on the girls (Faye and Nina) still have to get those stamps made and orders sorted, they are doing a great job actually, in fact they are all doing a great job, busy busy busy.

I have the information now for the new blog, so that will be ready as soon as I can, but first I have the project club to finish off for March.  I did mention at the last class there will be a new website, but as you can imagine there's lots to do for that.  I will let you know as and when it goes live, you can in the mean time still place any orders on the Dimension Stamps website if anything takes your fancy.  Just had a thought if ever there's a theme for the project club or a suggestion for a stamp you'd like to see then let me know and I'll pass it on.  We do have lots in the pipeline, we all seem to bounce ideas off each other every time we meet up, but we always like suggestions as well.

If you have a facebook account you can see posts there as well, although with all that's going on it will be a little hit and miss, the blog is linked to facebook and once sorted so will the new blog.

I have been asked about contact details for Faye.  I have spoken to her today and the information below is available on the Dimension Stamps website, the mobile number will be used until a land line has been sorted out.

 Phone (orders): 07815477292
 Email (orders): nina_crafts@yahoo.co.uk

I will keep everyone updated as and when things happen, now back to the project club.

Talking about project club, if you would like to join our club for just £10 a month and get discounts on your purchases visit our website for more detail or phone Faye on the above phone number or send your message to the email address.

Class Card - February 2014

We had a really good class this month, well we always do actually lol.  We will not be having another until May as the move is imminent, so I will miss it, but I'll be back lol.  For those of you who don't know Dimension Stamps have changed their name to Nina Crafts, the Dimension Stamps bit had become name only so it made sense to drop it.  There is also a premises move on the way, new website and blog so very busy and exciting times ahead.  I'll keep you up to date as and when things happen.

Anyway, the card, I had been looking at the videos from various companies and people who went to the CHA this year and I saw these card template dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs, they are part of the Pop It Up range by Karen Burniston.  I just had to do a search to see if I could get them here in the UK and found them to pre-order at Craft U Love, I ordered the circle (shown in the picture below), the oval and the square, but then I ordered the border dies as well, tut.  I thought they would make a nice change to use in class but wanted to keep them quite plain by not using the borders at this time.  The circle sentiment on the front is from the January Project Club set and the sentiment on the middle circle is the complimentary stamp for the January set.  I also used the 'Posie Passion' stamps ref: NC004, what a perfect fit these flowers are, but of course I planned it haha.

Renaming - Message from Faye

This is the message just posted on Facebook, so didn't want our blog readers to miss out.

Hi everyone. Sorry it's been a while since the last post..... just to let you know you will now see we have changed to Nina Crafts rather than Dimension Stamps. ... it makes much more sense seeing as all our stamps and show stand name is Nina Crafts! Also our land line is down at the minute. ... we are doing everything we can to fix it and I will let you know when it is. Thanks.

So because of the name change I am in the process of changing the blog as well, so I will keep you up to date with everything as and when it happens.  While I'm here there will be a new website coming soon as well.  Lots to do lol.

Class Card - January 2014

This is the card we did in class this month I didn't actually use the project club stamps but did use the lovely rose heart stamp that compliments the project club set, both will be available on the website soon.  I used the Spellbinders Scalloped Heart and Heart dies, the rose heart stamp fits lovely.  The background paper I got from Roy.  The lovely flower is from the 'Petal Passion' set ref: 2400065a available on the website, more information about this set soon, I'm going to do a collection of the different flower patterns to show you.  We changed the colour of the brad in class and to finish the card I used large gems in the corners.
